The Callahan years are not an excuse anymore, but what BC gave this team was cancer, and it takes more than a group of seniors to be gone because you have the underclassmen who may exhibit some shitty traits of the previous class and so on and so forth, so I think it can take time to get that shit out your system and I think it's harder with a first time head coach than an experienced guy at the helm.

I propose that instead of ad hominem attacks, we attempt to raise the level of debate and discourse here, and actually discuss the issue:
1. How long can the "blame it on Callahan excuse" be used? It kinds reminds me of Obama constantly blaming everything on Bush. The 2007 season was light years ago.
2. At what point does Pelini move to the hot seat, where his job is at stake? Put another way..... how many 4-loss seasons will your average Joe Husker Fan endure before beginning to think that a coaching change might be best at NU?

I say 2 more years, Bo has hitched his wagon to T-Mart and I say he gets to ride it into the sunset. And at the end of 2 years, if we don't have a conference championship then, I say we hire Brian Kelley because he will be out of ND by then.
