Allow me to offer my free assistance to the new Defensive Quality Control dude:
1. When playing against Wisconsin, keep at least one NU defender on the edge for containment. If you continually lose outside contain against Wisky, you will get your shit pushed in to the tune of 500+ rushing yards.
2. When playing against Minnesota, remember they run the same two plays over and over (zone read and inside zone). On the zone read, the big, slow white QB keeps it 95% of the time. Keep at least one NU defender on the edge for containment (preferably a guy who can tackle big, slow white QBs).
There you go. Your path toward becoming the next defensive genius has been laid out before you. Papuchis/Pelini failed to heed my advice. Don't make the same mistake.
I have given up on Bo, but unlike most of the yutzes here, I haven't given up on the team. Unlike others, I still take joy when we win, whether it is Ohio State or Oregon Institute of mildly retarded hot chicks
Well, let's just untangle your web of hypocrisy, shall we?
Why is that when some of us give up on Bo, we also give up on the team -- but when you give up on Bo, you haven't given up on the team?
You also imply that some folks aren't happy when the Huskers win. Can you point to a specific post that demonstrates this? I mean, I have yet to read a post like that ("Mother. Fuck. The God damn Big Red went and beat Illinois. Son-of-a-bitch!! How could they?").
Newsflash, genius: Most folks are just like you -- they think Bo is not up to the job..... yet they still root for the players and want the program to succeed.
I was in the stadium Saturday, wearing red and cheering for the Huskers -- just like your average, garden variety Husker fan.
It doesn't change the fact I think Pelini is in over his head and NU can do better for a head coach -- and it doesn't preclude me from enjoying the gameday atmosphere in Lincoln (even with an 11:00am kickoff).

lets blow the lid off this shit...put on our sweater vests...and welcome NU Coach Tressel.
oh, and I'm semi-serious...lol...once we could get over the whole "he's a crooked asshole" part, he's probably the best *proven* HC available...and he's already got strong recruiting ties throughout the Big10...
I actually agree with atl.
Which means I should probably re-evaluate my position.
But yes....my top 3 choices: 1) Jim Tressel; 2) Gary Patterson; 3) Charlie Strong
I don't like it when people say that they are out as fans unless this or that happens.
You know what I don't like?
Watching Nebraska give up close to 700 total yards of offense in a loss to UCLA. Or 63 points in a nationally televised beatdown at Ohio State. Or, worse yet, getting blown out 70-31 by Wisconsin, as the Badgers rushed for 539 yards. Follow that up with another mid-tier bowl loss. Yeah, perfect.
Fickle fans are a "meh." Watching Nebraska get its ass handed to it in blowout losses -- again and again, season after season -- now that's something to not like.
