Some Husker Fans = Spoiled Rotten Brats

I remember being concerned eight years ago that we could easily lose a generation of fans as it had been twelve years since NU had won anything of significance. It has now been twenty years and a full generation has passed. That’s a lot of patience even for those like yourself that watched NU during the Roosevelt administration.

Same old bullshit. This program will always find a way to shit its pants. Frosts playcalling was a disgrace in the second half. Nothing deep and not a goddamn thing in the middle of the field. NU has no inside running game at all. Soft mentally and do not know how to win. Mother Fucking Christ!

Why do I get the feeling the Meyer hate would suddenly end if NU hired him as HC....?

Goddamn right.

Or Brian Kelly who won his second coach of the year award this decade today. Bwhahahhaahhaha

Bump for truth.

NU will be back outside of the top 20 which is where they've been a fixture for seven years under Bo.

Texas is now 3-5 after a 23-0 loss to Grandma.

The Longhorns are now 0-7 in their last seven games against ranked teams.

Longhorn Network is must see TV these days.

Hook'em Motherfuckers!

I was watching the defense shut down an offense that averages 478 yard and 40 points a game, and when the lead was obviously secure, start rotating DL (you know, the position Pelini can't recruit to?) into the game to get them some experience (you know, like some people here always bitch about him NOT doing?), and thought, after the 3rd substitution penalty,

"Good, Boxcunt Fuckface will have something to bitch about, too"

478 yards and 40 points a game they average, and they got 372 and 19.

Nothing about that, fuckface?

Come on Louie we played a team that hasn't won a Conference game since 2011 and still give up twenty-four first downs and two hundred yards rushing.

It's a win but just like last year November and the results in Indy will decide the season.

You love stats sooooooo much.

They averaged 478 and 40 points so far THIS year.

What does that really mean when you're playing a team that hasn't won a Conference game since 2011?

So we gave up 100 fewer yards today. Great.

The season boils down to UCLA, Northwestern, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and the CCG.

So far we're 0-1.

They have to try to drum up some interest in the B1G Legends division. Why do you think they're televising Northwestern in Prime Time this weekend against tOSU

Perhaps because they are two undefeated teams ranked in the top 15.

Right, and why is Northwestern in the top 15? Because otherwise no one would get to see Ohio State on TV. If this game is within 3 touchdowns, I will be surprised.

If Northwestern gets blown out on National TV, can I stop hearing about how great Pat Fitzgerald is?

Only if I can stop hearing how great Bo is.

See, that is just it. Bo isn't great. Yet. He has a number of flaws. But I see potential there. He's grown a bunch in the past few years, and he will continue to grow, just like Osborne grew into a great coach of his tenure.

Please elaborate on this so-called "potential" keeping in mind that Bo was brought here to fix the defense and statistically it has gotten worse each of the last two seasons and 1/4 into the 2013 season he's fielding a defense that is trending worse than the previous two years?

Something tangible please not your feelings. Please refrain from the TO comparisons as at the conclusion of the 78 season TO had two recognized Conference Titles (posted in memorial stadium) and six straight top ten finishes. What statistical data or recent trends suggests that we're on the doorstep to returning to an elite program?

Oh and beck... tmart should never run the triple option

Beck doubled his salary in the offseason and is the highest paid OC in the Conference. Three stright passes right after we lost the lead? Sitting on the ball with a minute to go in the half with two timeouts with a fourth year starting QB and the best wide receivers in the Conference while knowing that UCLA was starting to adjust to Bo's defense? Nice job Tim. Momentium killed.

Same ole Huskers.

Run the ball.

Stop the run.

Reminds me of something.....

That combination use to be our bread and butter. It brought Titles.

Now the recipe is to stop the pass, occupy space in the middle of the DL and being multiple on offense.

Less confused on the defensive side of the ball and more energy.

Gregory looked very impressive.

Running backs found creases and Newby and Ameer looked explosive. Cross is a great change of pace back.

Our punter looks damn good for a freshman.

NU was a terrible match-up for USM. Slow QB and terrible running game. If there is one thing that Bo's teams traditionally do well it's stop the pass.

Next week is a true test. Are the mistakes correctable? Can NU stop the run against a team that will spread them out, utilize crossing routes and using the read option to gash our defense on the ground?

You might be surprised but I like NU next week. Payback, an energized crowd, and the early start I think will play big for NU.

Again, how many Conference Titles and top ten finishes does Bo have to date?

It doesn't mean he should be fired. Did Osborne go more than four years without a conference title? We should have fired that fucking loser in 1977.

That was Tom's first recognized Conference Title. That was his third season.

The banner is hanging along with the other Conference Titles in Memorial Stadium.

So we're not winning championships under Bo but at least he's doing it the Nebraska way.
