Greg Bell is a nice pickup.  #1 JUCO RB for this recruiting cycle.  I think he enrolls early as well, so he'll be right in the mix to win the starting spot.  probably also important because who knows what the situation with Tre Bryant will be.

one silver lining to consider about this year's early signing period is that it's looking like a lot of the top schools are going to have their classes full or almost full already, yet there will still be a number of top prospects still available for the normal Feb signing date for a variety of reasons, with a big one being academics for a lot of kids.  NU will probably have more room left in the class compared to many other top schools so might be able to land some top kids late.  let's also cross our fingers that the major coaching turnover this year will result in some top kids waiting to make their decision as well, which gives SF and staff a little bit of time to develop relationships.

Woodyard also is N.   Was out when it came over.

Couple of nice pickups late.  Lets see what else is Left.  Cam'ron Jone to decide on Friday as well as Mesiah Swinson.

Any others that might still sign?

Cam'Ron Jones I think will be deciding in Feb.  CJ Smith didn't sign because I think he still has some academics to work out before the Feb signing date.  same with Mapieu.

looks like a lot of top schools closed on almost their entire recruiting class, so will be interesting to see which undecided kids are still in play between now and Feb.

NU possibly still in the mix with JUCO LB Honas, who it appeared was going to decide between Iowa and Neb until Wisky offered late, now he's debating whether to sign by this Fri or try to take a late visit to Wisky Jan 12 and enroll afterwards (Iowa and Wisky apparently start school on the 15th or so meanwhile NU starts on the 8th so not sure if that means NU would be completely out of the picture or not)

yes, nice pickup.  #1 JUCO ILB, I think.

plus, Iowa and Wisky wanted him, so not only does NU get the top JUCO ILB, but keeps him away from our competition in the west.
