Then I don't know. I have nothing.

This sucks. My teenage years revolved around the Seattle scene. Cornell being up there with Vedder.
Hate to see him go at only 52.

Chris Cornell is dead
Go big red

It sucks to be rich and famous.

Sorry Brian.  I have little sympathy for anyone who commits suicide.  It fixes nothing and devastates the lives of the people who really cared about them.  Just had a long discussion with my kids about "thirteen reasons why."   Only one person was responsible for the death of the girl in the show, but supposedly, the whole school of kids were to blame to different degrees.

Yep

Running has an uncanny ability to mellow the soul, to take the edge off hard feelings, and put things back into healthy perspective.
Yeah, it's a 50 caliber. They used to use it to hunt buffalo with... up close! It's only legal in two states. And this isn't one of them.

it's okay if you don't understand depression, but it's debilitating to those that have it. I've had enough experiences with suicide to have learned a great deal about the disease. Hopefully your kids understand that being a dick and bully is wrong from watching the movie or from having stellar parents. being mad at someone who died at his own hand because of a depression is like being mad at someone who didn't beat cancer and died.

Depression is something that you can't control. Even people who are medicated, rich, famous, poor, healthy, unhealthy and so on.
It can be debilitating, and it can consume you. Thinking about and being with your loved ones doesn't always help, but identifying the warning signs in people you know with severe depression can at least help prevent suicide or self-inflicted harm.
The world of someone with severe depression is a spiral of hopelessness regardless of their situation. It is difficult for those who have never experienced it to understand what that person is going through.
