final?

Running has an uncanny ability to mellow the soul, to take the edge off hard feelings, and put things back into healthy perspective.
Yeah, it's a 50 caliber. They used to use it to hunt buffalo with... up close! It's only legal in two states. And this isn't one of them.

Ten minutes to go in the first quarter.

Not over yet but Wisky looks good early.
"We don't point the finger around here we point the thumb." Bo Pelini responds after another sluggish offensive performance. Not sure which game since our offense is always fucking awful.

"I think we can be real stout against the run, and I think our secondary is going to be really good. I mean, there's potential for us to have our best defense we've had here." Carl Pelini assesses the 2011 defense during spring ball.

"We play to win Championships. If you don't win a Championship it isn't a successful season." Bo's comments during fall camp 2011.

We didn't win a championship but it isn't always about winning championships." Bo Pelini responds after finishing the season 9-3 and a third place finish in the Legends Division.

"We played sloppy." Bo Pelini responds following 2009 TT, 2009 ISU, 2010 SDS, 2010 A&M, 2010 Holiday Bowl, 2011 CHATT, 2011 Fresno ST, 2011 Wisconsin, 2011 Northwestern, and Michigan 2011.

If this score holds like it looks right now, NU had the opportunity to move up before the initial BCS standings. Now they can kiss any shot at the BCS goodbye, unless some serious miracles happen.

Wisky is going to find a way to lose this game.

It's now 21-18, UW.

OSU showing heart/leadership.

Where was ours today?

THAT was a big time drive by Wisconsin.

They stepped up when they needed to with their first points since the second quarter.

28-18, Wisconsin.

And Colorado lost at home to Baylor. We have that.

I wonder if the CU fans still stormed the field just because.

OSU has no character, heart, or leadership.

Because they like, lost.

Whatever gets you over this loss.

OSU came storming back and but for a season defining drive by Wisconsin midway through the fourth quarter maybe OSU wins.

But they didn't. At least OSU didn't beat themselves like we did. Wisconsin used their home crowd to their advantage, along with smashmouth football to ice away the game. Credit to them. I didn't see seven dropped balls, nine penalties, five fumbles, or a stupid-ass onside kick blunder that cost OSU the game.

Wisconsin was the better team.

Good for them.

We still lost.

We lost? No shit. Gotdamn, you're the smartest motherfucker I've ever even heard of.

They didn't beat themselves? Kickoff returns for TD's, busted coverages, shitty tackling. If Bo had coached a team for that performance, you'd be calling for him to resign.

You can't have it both ways, bucko.

College football. Played by kids. Jesus. You just don't get it, do you?

Give me a break.

Tressel has won a National Championship and six Big 10 Championships (Five consecutive). Bo has as many North Division Championships, Conference Championships, and wins against top 15 teams as our old buddy Billy C. Bo hasn't reached the stature at NU where he's beyond reproach (cue TO reference from the 70's/80's). Nobody is asking for Bo to resign but it's time to start fixing the same damn mistakes we see game after game (penalties, fumbles, and drops). Constantly blaming yourself without a change in results only makes Bo look like someone who doesn't have control of his team.
