They need to cut ties with Incognito. It's time to give him the boot. I don't care how great of a lineman he may be, he hurts the team with his actions on the field and off of it.

I'm sure we'll soon find a post somewhere blaming everyone else besides ritchie for this.

god damn this fucking sucks

hopefully it won't be all season.....for this season anyway, we need him....tuff to break ties with such a talented kid....but he's setting us up each time because our OL is relying on his skill in the trenches, and when he fucks up and has missed games,it leaves us hollow....if this is to continue (which, unfortunately it looks like the cycle he's on), they yes we need to cut the ties because this shit will just keep happening and we'll end up being "man down" for being prepared for some games we really need to bring it...

he's already been to anger management, been flagged in important games, disciplined for previous instances, suspended for an offseason altercation and is still getting into fights w/his teammates...

bye bye ritchie...

in the nfl, they kick your ass for that type of behavior...

Considering what happened he needs to go. The details of the events are rather disturbing

Geez, this dude is turning into LP, part deux.

Million dollar talent, 5 cent head. You guys are better off without him in the long run. In the short run, it might hurt not having him there.

Unless you know something I don't, all I could find is that he was involved in a Locker Room fight with somebody. I've read some rumors going around but nothing official in regards to that.

Personally I don't have a problem with Cally kicking his ass to the curb. Everything that I've heard and read is that this kid, while he's one hell of an Offensive Lineman is a hothead and has NO respect for the coaches and throws a fit if they want him to do something he doesn't. He's a cancer to the team because of is I attitude and a lot of the players hate him for that.

According to Marcinko's (over at allbuffs), Richie found out he wasn't gonna be a captain (Dailey is) and went ballistic. I guess he figured he deserved it or something. I guess he doesn't get the whole people need to like and respect you to vote for you thing.

Rumor I heard and someone at HI kind of verified it. Think impending rape charges.

that combined with all past transgressions, including the recent lockerroom scuffle with another player, is what has done him in...

he has probably gotten more chances than he deserved already.

apparantly his antics havent translated into a high popularity ranking with the teammates... beating one of them up because you cant control your temper doesnt help...

over his career here, the mistakes have continued to increase in intensity... who knows what would happen if they let him stay?

Good for Cally for kicking his ass off the team. It will no doubt hurt the team immediately, but the example being made is important, especially as we continue to recruit blue chip athletes. We don't want to be another florida school with no discipline. This should send a message to all the current players as well, if Cally will kick an all-american off the team he will boot anyone.

Here's what happened as was told by a current Husker player who saw the whole thing and was involved in pulling Incognito off of Mulkey.

Grant Mulkey was talking with fellow teammates about his impending first start. Being excited about his first start he was a little on the emotional side. Incognito walked in and heard and saw Mulkey in a emotional state and started giving him a bad time. As a comeback, Mulkey told Incognito that he'd be playing instead of sitting in the stands watching game. Upon hearing this, Incognito went nuts. He jumped on Mulkey and started to beat the crap out of him. After teammates separated them, Incognito went after Mulkey again. The second attack happened after Incognito approached Mulkey as if to apologize to him. With the two of them being friends, Mulkey had his guard down. The second incident was not so easy. It took ten players to get Incognito off of Mulkey. Upon hearing the about the incident Callahan walk in and immediately Incognito verbally assaulted Callahan and threatened to kick his ass. I guess it was really ugly.

If you want any more details, please feel free to PM me.
