QUOTE
Back in 1984, 32-year-old Nebraska housewife Ronni McCougan took a fistful of fertility drugs and prayed with all of her might that God would bless her and her husband with a child to carry on their legacy. Well, God did one better than that—or, rather, five better than that—and delivered unto them and the world the adorable Nebraska Sextuplets. We recently sat down with the giddy girls, who still live at home with their parents, and found them to be as rascally as ever.

STUFF: So, how have you ladies been since we last spoke?

ANNE: Great!

SUSIE: Super!

ABBY: Awesome!

TAMMIE: Super super!

SPARKLES: I killed a man…just to watch him die.

STUFF: OK! Thanks, girls. That’s all we have space for. See you in another five years!

You win. Fucker. - Yoss to me 7/31/08

There is no place like Nebraska. biggrin.gif

Could be just me, but those faces look a little TOO similar, even for sextuplets that turned out to be all girls (and I'm a geneticist) - do I smell photoshop? Probably not, it'd be a DAMN good job if it is...

But there are no sextuplets from Nebraska on THIS LIST

Yeah, it fails the bullshit test. Identical sextuplets? There may be a greater chance of winning Powerball twice consecutively than bearing identical sextuplets.

You guys are regular Columbos. Did the article tip you off that it was a joke, or did you remember the huge news stories when the first sextuplets in America were born in the early 90's?

I don't care if there's only one of them out there that looks like her, I'd still screw her mouth till her teeth fell out

I was waiting for our resident self-proclaimed geneticist (or Diggler) to point out that fertility drugs commonly work by promoting/stimulating the maturation and release of multiple eggs at once... thus the result of this is a multiple birth pregnancy, but due to multiple individual eggs being fertilized by different sperm.

identical siblings are created by one egg dividing into two zygotes (or whatever they are called) after fertilization by one sperm, thus the identical DNA...
